Russell Wilson Would Approve Trade To Cowboys, Saints, Raiders, Bears

Mar 1, 2021 8:37 AM

Russell Wilson has not requested a trade from the Seattle Seahawks, but his agent revealed he has a four-team list of destinations he would approve of being dealt to.

Agent Mark Rodgers said the only teams Wilson would go to are the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, Las Vegas Raiders and Chicago Bears.

Wilson has expressed frustration after the season.

The Seahawks, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler earlier this month, made it clear to suitors that Wilson would not be dealt.

Allen Robinson, Bears Haven't Discussed Contract Since September

Feb 17, 2021 8:41 AM

The Chicago Bears and Allen Robinson haven't seriously discussed a new contract since September.

During an interview last week, Robinson said there was an "open line of communication" with the club but noted that sides hadn't spoken for "some time."

According to a report, there have been no talks on a long-term contract extension between the two sides in several months. The franchise tag window opens on Feb. 23. Unless extension talks progress quickly with Robinson, he is a candidate to get slapped with that tag.

"At this point, I'd pretty much be open to everything on the table," Robinson said. "I'm not 100 percent sure what will happen in the next coming weeks as far as being a free agent and things like that, but as everything stands today, I definitely will open to everything on the table."

The Chicago Bears have hired Mike Pettine as a senior defensive assistant.

Pettine spent the past three years as the defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers.

The 54-year-old never signed a contract extension that was offered to him after last season, meaning he was in the final year of his deal.
