Tom Brady's possibly injured throwing hand was the subject of speculation as he threw for just 116 yards in the New England Patriots' 27-17 win over the Miami Dolphins.
“It’s perfect,” said Brady.
“I didn’t know [how] anyone knows what the back of my right hand looks like, but it looks fine to me and it feels good," said Brady. "I’ll be out there next week; you don’t have to worry about that.
Danny Amendola has missed 24 out of 39 games over the past three seasons.
Amendola won't call himself injury-prone though.
"I don't really listen to it," Amendola told USA TODAY Sports on Friday. "I know how I play and what I can bring to the team. So I'm not really interested in hearing anything else."
The Patriots envisioned Amendola playing a role similar to Wes Welker.
"I'm not going to change," said Amendola. "That's just the way I am. It's a rough game. Everybody knows that. I love the physical part of the game. So I'm not going to change. I'm ready to go this week. So really, that's the only thing that I can focus on."
The New England Patriots have signed Andre Carter.
Carter is a defensive end that was previously with played with the Patriots.

Rob Gronkowski has been cleared by doctors to play on Sunday against the New York Jets.
Dr. James Andrews held off clearing Gronkowski for games because of lingering issues with his forearm.
Gronkowski has been described as "dominant" in practice for the New England Patriots.
Rob Gronkowski's return from multiple offseason surgeries has been the subject of mystery and speculation during the first part of the New England Patriots' season.
Some have questioned Gronkowski's timeline for returning.
"I don't understand why this story has gotten so much traction," his agent Drew Rosenhaus told 560 WQAM-AM (via The Boston Globe). "There are dozens of players around the NFL who aren't playing because they are injured and coming back from surgery. And in Rob's case, this is really straightforward. Up to this point, he hasn't been cleared to play in a game. He has not been cleared by Dr. (James) Andrews, who is the supervising doctor."
Gronkowski is one of the NFL's most productive tight ends.
"There's a huge difference between being cleared to practice and being cleared to play in a game," Rosenhaus said. "I've had great dialogue with coach (Bill) Belichick and the Patriots' medical staff, and Rob and his family. Everybody's on the same page, except it's gotten a lot of play in the media and all these unsubstantiated sources."
Jerod Mayo underwent surgery for a torn pectoral muscle on Tuesday.
Mayo's surgery is typically season-ending, but no decision has been made on his roster spot.
Mayo was leading the New England Patriots with 55 tackles at the time of the injury.
Tom Brady publicly expressed support for Rob Gronkowski via email amid reports that some New England Patriots are critical of how he is returning from multiple offseason surgeries.
“All of us have seen how badly Rob wants to help us win,’’ Brady wrote. “He has definitely given all he could in practice, especially on the scout teams to replicate the other teams’ best receiver. Though they may seem insignificant during the week, they are a huge reason why teams win.’’
Rob Gronkowski's slow return from offseason surgeries is creating tension among his New England Patriots' teammates, according to sources.
"There's curiosity and resentment, and he's creating it by going out and kicking ass during the week and then he doesn't show up on game day and help the team win," one source said.
Gronkowski may be concerned that another injury to his forearm could threaten his career.
Gronkowski, however, has practiced fully for weeks and was described as dominant ahead of the Patriots' Week 6 game against the New Orleans Saints.
"If he's not playing in games, he damn sure should not be doing what he is in practice," said the same source who mentioned resentment.
