Jeff Demps will return to track and field, less than one year after participating in the Olympics.

Demps signed with New England last Aug. 17 and began practicing with the team during its joint training camp practices with the Buccaneers. 

Demps was a running back and return specialist while at Florida.

Joe Flacco's franchise tender has been lowered by more than $800,000 due to Tom Brady's new extension with the New England Patriots.

The Baltimore Ravens can use the franchise tag on Flacco if they are unable to agree to a long-term deal.

The tender is the average of the five highest salaries at the quarterback position and Brady's new deal takes him from No. 1 to off the list.

Tom Brady has signed a three-year extension with the New England Patriots that will run through the 2017 season.

Brady will be 40 in 2017.

The three-year extension is worth $27 million, which represents a significant discount for a quarterback of Brady's caliber.

The extension will pay Brady a $3 milion signing bonus immediately, in addition to salaries of $7 million in 2015, $8 million in 2016 and $9 million in 2017. 

The cap savings for the Patriots is significant.

Rob Gronkowski has been offered $3.75 million to make a pornography film with Bibi Jones.

Gronkowski posed for photos with Jones, an adult film actress, in 2011 and 2012.

Sex.com made the offer to match his 2014 base salary.

The press release from the adult website said Gronkowski had “the attitude to be a hugely popular male adult star.”

Aaron Hernandez has rented a home in Manhattan Beach for the offseason so he can workout with Tom Brady.

Brady is most often based in the Los Angeles area during the offseason.
