The Denver Broncos have signed Jacob Hester.

Willis McGahee's injury has created a void at running back.

Hester spent his first four seasons with the Chargers.

Von Miller has had another excellent season and is a frontrunner for Defensive Player of the Year.

Miller recorded three sacks and seven hurries against Philip Rivers on Sunday.

Rivers' completion percentage dropped from 75 to 37.5 percent when pressured.

Willis McGahee will miss six to eight weeks with a torn MCL in his right knee.

McGahee underwent an MRI on Monday.

Ronnie Hillman and Lance Ball will likely assume tailback duties in McGahee's absence.

“It swelled up on him,” said John Fox. “We’ll know more (Monday).”

Ronnie Hillman and Lance Ball finished the game at tailback and combined for 78 yards rushing on 18 carries.

The Denver Broncos won their fourth straight game, beating the Carolina Panthers by a final score of 36-14.
