Von Miller has had another excellent season and is a frontrunner for Defensive Player of the Year.

Miller recorded three sacks and seven hurries against Philip Rivers on Sunday.

Rivers' completion percentage dropped from 75 to 37.5 percent when pressured.

McGahee underwent an MRI on Monday.

Ronnie Hillman and Lance Ball will likely assume tailback duties in McGahee's absence.

Willis McGahee will undergo an MRI on his injured right knee on Monday.

McGahee was injured in the second quarter of the Broncos' win over the Chargers.

“It swelled up on him,” said John Fox. “We’ll know more (Monday).”

Ronnie Hillman and Lance Ball finished the game at tailback and combined for 78 yards rushing on 18 carries.

Broncos Beat Panthers 36-14 (+3.6 TC, +7 TRC)

The Denver Broncos won their fourth straight game, beating the Carolina Panthers by a final score of 36-14.

The Broncos had a +3.6 edge in The Trench Counter, gaining two more yards per play than the Panthers. Denver had a +7 advantage in Total Rushes/Completions.

Peyton Manning went 27-for-38 for 301 yards and one touchdown. DeMaryius Thomas caught nine of Manning's passes for 135 yards.

Willis McGahee rushed 14 times for 56 yards.

The Broncos scored on two interception returns, and Mike Adams caught Cam Newton in the end zone for a safety.

Newton went 21-for-36 for 241 yards, two touchdowns, an interception and the aforemention safety.

Greg Olsen caught both of the Panthers' touchdowns and finished with 102 yards.

Broncos Punting Nearly Half As Much As 2011

The Denver Broncos' offense has punted with far less frequency this season with Peyton Manning at quarterback.

The Broncos are on pace for 62 punts on the season.

Last season, with Tim Tebow at quarterback for most of the snaps, the Broncos punted 101 times.

The Denver Broncos improved to 5-3 with a 31-23 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Broncos had a +3.5 advantage in The Trench Counter, having a -1 turnover differential but a slightly higher yards per play average and significantly less penalty yardage. Denver also had a +2 edge in Total Rushes/Completions.

Peyton Manning went 27-for-35 for 291 yards and three touchdowns, but also threw two interceptions. Eric Decker caught two touchdowns and finished with 99 yards receiving.

Willis McGahee rushed for just 66 yards on 23 carries.

Andy Dalton went 26-for-42 for 299 yards, an A.J. Green touchdown and one interception. Green caught seven balls for 99 yards, while Jermaine Gresham caught six for 108 yards.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushed 17 times for 56 yards and a touchdown.
