The Baltimore Ravens have inquired with the Atlanta Falcons about a possible trade for Julio Jones.

However, the wide receiver's contract makes a trade unlikely.

Jones, 32, carries a $15.3 million base salary this season.

John Harbaugh said Tuesday that the Baltimore Ravens will pick up Lamar Jackson's fifth-year option before Monday's deadline.

"Guarantee it," Harbaugh said on The Rich Eisen Show.

Jackson will make a guaranteed $23.1 million in 2022, a significant raise from his $1.7 million salary this season.

By exercising Jackson's option, the Ravens will squash the speculation that the team will allow Jackson to "graduate" after four seasons. A report recently suggested the Ravens could trade up to draft a quarterback this week and move on from Jackson before his heightened salary-cap hit limits Baltimore's spending.

Orlando Brown says he's ready for the pressure of protecting Patrick Mahomes with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs acquired the left tackle from the Baltimore Ravens via trade.

"I put a lot of pressure on myself and have very high expectations for myself, and that's keeping Pat as clean as possible, creating many huge gaps and holes in the running game and taking care of that man across from me on a consistent basis," Brown said. "I want to be the best. I want to be the best to play this position in the league. I'm not there yet and I've still got a lot of work to do, but I'm going to get there."

The Ravens granted Brown's request for a trade. Brown said he wanted out of Baltimore because he wanted to play left tackle. His path with the Ravens was blocked by the presence of Ronnie Stanley.

The Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to acquire Orlando Brown from the Baltimore Ravens for a 2021 first rounder, third rounder and fourth rounder, as well as a fifth rounder in 2021.

The Chiefs will also acquire a 2021 second rounder and a 2022 sixth rounder.

Baltimore will enter draft night with the 27th and 31st overall picks in the first round.

Sammy Watkins believes Lamar Jackson can become an elite passer as long as his Baltimore Ravens teammates get open.

Watkins joined the Ravens on a one-year, $5 million last week.

"It takes guys getting open to be great and look great and be the Patrick Mahomes of the world and be Tom Brady," Watkins said. "You got to have that No. 1 receiver or that No. 2 or that No. 3 nowadays to go out there and be successful and literally throw the ball with your eyes closed and be unconscious. If I can go out there and be healthy and the other wideouts can make plays ... we can be a balanced offense. [If] we get open when we need to get open, I think Lamar can throw for those 4,000 yards or those 4,500 yards [or] 5,000 [yards] -- whatever these guys are putting up. I think he can be that quarterback and be elite in this game."

Last season, the Ravens had the NFL's 32nd-ranked passing game.
