The Baltimore Ravens have released Le'Veon Bell.

Before the Ravens announced the move, Bell wrote on Twitter: "This hurts but it's been a blessing to be here to say the least. I've enjoyed every second of this short period and gotta whole new meaning of what this city is like & it's a great place to be. I appreciate Eric [DeCosta, Ravens GM] & John Harbaugh for the opportunity to be called [a] Raven."

Dolphins Blitzed Safeties At Highest Rate Since 2015

Nov 12, 2021 3:09 PM

The Miami Dolphins employed a unique strategy against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.

According to Next Gen Stats, the Dolphins blitzed safeties a combined 38 times during their 22-10 win.

Those blitzes sometimes came on the same play and Miami wound up sending defensive backs on 24 of the 48 plays when Jackson dropped back to pass.

It's the most defensive back blitzes for any team this season and the most defensive back blitzes by any team since Next Gen Stats came into existence at the start of the 2016 season.

Ravens LB Malik Harrison Shot In Leg By Stray Bullet

Nov 2, 2021 8:53 AM

Malik Harrison suffered a non-life-threatening injury after being struck by a stray bullet in the left calf, the Baltimore Ravens announced.

Harrison, 23, was injured outside a Cleveland nightclub on Sunday night while the Ravens were on their bye.

A third-round pick in 2020, Harrison is scheduled to return to Baltimore on Monday after receiving medical care at a Cleveland hospital.

"I don't think it's severe at all," John Harbaugh said. "I'm optimistic that it's going to be OK.

"Happy that he's OK and very grateful that he's OK and not hurt worse. Anything can happen. It's just a tough situation."
