Justin Tucker Believes He Can Make 70-Yard Field Goal

Sep 13, 2014 6:09 PM

Justin Tucker hit a game-winner from 61 yards on Monday for the Baltimore Ravens and he believes he can extend the current record of 64 yards another 18 feet.

“If I pulled out the eight-degree driver — on a day when I’m feeling real fresh — I could probably hit one from 70 yards,” Tucker told Jim Corbett of USA Today. “I hit one from 70 yards in pregame in Detroit this past Monday night.”

Tucker also said he made a field goal from 79 yards earlier this year.

“That was in Denver before our opener in September,” Tucker said.  “The weather was perfect; the field was good.  With the altitude in the Rocky Mountains, the ball jumps off your foot.”

Flacco 'Feels Fine' After Knee 'Caves In'

Sep 13, 2014 6:09 PM

Joe Flacco's left knee "caved in" when he was hit by DeAndre Levy's helmet just below the knee.

Flacco got back up gingerly, but stayed in the game.

"It feels fine," Flacco said. "It feels strong."

The potential for injury looked so serious that the Ravens had Tyrod Taylor begin to warm up.

Flacco got the knee taped up and went back in the game on the next possession.

Flacco had a slight limp after the game.
