The Baltimore Ravens have claimed Sammy Watkins off waivers.

The move comes with the team also placing Devin Duvernay on injured reserve after he was hurt in practice earlier this week.

Watkins, 29, was waived by the Green Bay Packers on Monday after failing to record a reception in his last three games.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson may not play again until Christmas Eve as he continues to recover from a knee injury, league sources told ESPN.

Jackson is dealing with a sprained PCL, according to sources, an injury that often sidelines players from one to three weeks.

Lamar Jackson has been diagnosed with a sprained PCL following an MRI on Monday.

Jackson has been ruled as "week-to-week" with the injury. 

"As the week goes on, we'll see for this week," John Harbaugh said Monday. "It's probably less likely for this week, but it's not impossible. Then, after that, it'll become more and more likely."

Tyler Huntley would start for the Baltimore Ravens with the injury.

Lamar Jackson suffered a knee injury on Sunday and there is no definitive timetable for his return, but it is not expected to be a season-ending injury.

Jackson will undergo more testing on Monday.

"It's going to be a number [of] days to weeks. We'll see," John Harbaugh said. "We'll see if he can go back this week. If not, it'll be sometime after that shortly."

Jackson is in his fifth-year option and is not under contract for next year.
