Bills' Shaq Lawson Apologizes For Confronting Fan

Nov 28, 2023 8:41 AM

Buffalo Bills defensive end Shaq Lawson has apologized for confronting fans in Philadelphia after the team's overtime loss to the Eagles on Sunday afternoon.

Video circulated on social media of Lawson and other Bills defensive linemen confronting fans at Lincoln Financial Field.

"Those of you who know me know that I'm all about the fans, and I have a lot of respect for the game I play and my opponents," Lawson wrote on Instagram.

"Before the game started yesterday, there was a fan behind our bench, who was making life threatening remarks towards us and our families. We asked Philadelphia security to remove the fan, but he was allowed to stay for the entire game. Eventually, our emotions boiled over, and I made a mistake. For that, I apologize, but there are certain lines that should not be crossed."

A spokesman for the Eagles told the Associated Press on Monday that the matter is being reviewed.

Eagles Tie Record With Fourth Straight Comeback Win

Nov 27, 2023 1:51 AM

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts continues to have a flair for the dramatic.

He scored four of his career-high five touchdowns after halftime in the Eagles' come-from-behind win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, including a 12-yard scoring run in overtime to end the game in walk-off fashion and send the Lincoln Financial Field crowd into a frenzy.

"It's a Jalen performance. There aren't too many guys that I've played with -- probably nobody that I've played with -- that's been more clutch down the stretch," Eagles veteran center Jason Kelce said after the 37-34 victory.

Stefon Diggs Downplays Brother's Desire For WR To Leave Bills

Nov 17, 2023 8:58 AM

Stefon Diggs continues to downplay the notion that he's unhappy in Buffalo.

The wide receiver's brother, Trevon, is urging him to leave the team altogether after the Bills' Monday night loss to the Denver Broncos.

"Man 14 Gotta get up outta there," Trevon, a cornerback with the Dallas Cowboys, posted on X. He also posted "let's not forget, he didn't start going off till bro got there," referencing quarterback Josh Allen.

"I can't [answer] the questions as to why he feels [that way]," Stefon said. "I haven't had the personal conversation with him [Trevon]. Obviously, he's coming from more of a fan perspective [watching from home]. But that is my family, so I handle my family with the utmost respect, and I hope that people treat it that way. So when people speak on my family, [I hope they] have a level of integrity as well. … Tread lightly when you're talking about my family."

Josh Allen Takes OC Firing Personally: 'It Hurts'

Nov 16, 2023 11:03 AM

The Buffalo Bills' decision to fire offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey is personal on multiple levels for Josh Allen.

Dorsey has worked with Allen since 2019, first as the team's quarterbacks coach. In January 2022, after another playoff exit at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs, Allen successfully lobbied for Dorsey to get the offensive coordinator job.

Sean McDermott made the decision to fire Dorsey on Tuesday after the team fell to 5-5 with Monday's loss to the Denver Broncos. It's the team's worst winning percentage through more than two games since finishing 6-10 in 2018.

"Without a doubt, and I take that very personally," Allen said. "It hurts a lot to see someone you care about go through a situation like that and to know that if I could have done more, if this offense could have done more, we wouldn't have had to do something like that.

"... It's an unfortunate series of events that have led up to it, but, again, as much as you can sit here and feel sorry for yourself and you can sulk on what's going on, we got a game to prepare for and it's four days away, so we can't pay too much attention to it."

Bills Fire Ken Dorsey As Offensive Coordinator, Elevate Joe Brady

The Buffalo Bills have fired Ken Dorsey as offensive coordinator and have elevated Joe Brady as his interim replacement.

Buffalo announced the moves a few hours after their loss on Monday to the Denver Broncos.

Dorsey was elevated to Buffalo's offensive coordinator job in 2022 when his predecessor, Brian Daboll, was hired as the head coach of the New York Giants. Dorsey previously served as the Bills' quarterbacks coach.

Brady has offensive coordinator experience from his time with the Carolina Panthers(2020-21) before being fired during the 2021 season under Matt Rhule.

Bills Acquire CB Rasul Douglas From Packers

Nov 1, 2023 9:00 AM

The Buffalo Bills acquired cornerback Rasul Douglas from the Green Bay Packers before Tuesday's trade deadline.

The Bills sent a 2024 third-round pick to the Packers for Douglas and a 2024 fifth-round pick.

The Packers signed Douglas during the 2021 season off the Arizona Cardinals' practice squad and he led the team with five interceptions in a little more than half a season.

That offseason, they signed him to a three-year, $21 million deal.
