Josh Allen was understandably disappointed after the Buffalo Bills' 27-10 divisional round playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a high ankle sprain during Saturday's divisional-round victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, a league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The nature of the injury to Mahomes' right ankle was confirmed Sunday by an MRI, which showed no other damage, a source told Schefter.

Mahomes said Saturday night that he plans to play in next Sunday's AFC Championship Game.

Damar Hamlin has made great strides in his recovery from cardiac arrest earlier this month, but a family spokesman says the Buffalo Bills safety still has a long way to go in his recovery.

In a statement, Hamlin's longtime friend and business partner, Jordon Rooney, said: "Despite being out of the hospital, Damar still has a lengthy recovery. Damar still requires oxygen and is having his heart monitored regularly. He has visited with the team a few times but he still gets winded very easily.

"He's upbeat and positive and ready to continue to overcome this."

Rooney's statement came one day after Sean McDermott told reporters Hamlin had been at the team facility "almost daily," visiting his teammates and coaches Tuesday and Wednesday.

"It's limited, just overall," McDermott said of what Hamlin has been doing. "But he comes in and really just started really today or yesterday and just trying to get back to a little bit of a routine and just get himself acclimated again and taking it one step, one baby step at a time here."

The Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans will each play international games during the NFL's 2023 regular season.

The Chiefs and Patriots will play in Germany, while the Bills, Titans and Jaguars will play in London.

The Bills and Titans are the designated home teams for two games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while the Jaguars will host a game at Wembley Stadium as part of their multiyear commitment to playing in the United Kingdom.

There will be no international game in Mexico in 2023 due to renovations taking place in Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

The last eight remaining teams of the 2022 NFL season will square off this weekend in the Divisional Round. The pair of Saturday games feature point spreads of over one touchdown, while the two Sunday games are expected to be closer.

According to FiveThirtyEight, the Chiefs and Eagles have the best odds of reaching the Super Bowl at 45 percent and 44 percent respectively. Those two teams have an implied probability above 75 percent of reaching the Conference Championship.

The Bills and 49ers finished the season ranked first and second in Total DVOA, followed by the Eagles, Chiefs and Bengals to round out the top-5. The 49ers finished first in Weighted DVOA.

If the Kansas City Chiefs play the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game, it will be played in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The fact that a potential Bills-Chiefs matchup would be played at a neutral site was already known, but the league had yet to disclose where that location would be. 

All other potential AFC Championship Game matchups would take place at the home stadium of the higher seed.

The Chiefs have hosted 

"Nothing was going to be fair for anybody, I don't think. It's a situation that we never have encountered before," Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomessaid Monday regarding a site for the potential matchup. "But at the end of the day, I was so happy that Damar was doing better, and that's the most important stuff.

"And so him doing better and him being in a better spot, we were ready to do whatever scenario was going to happen. So if that was neutral site, if that was going there [to Buffalo], whatever it was, we were just ready to go out there and play. But we have to win that first game first, so let's worry about whoever we play in that first round, or that first round for us."

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin was discharged from Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute on Wednesday.

He spent more than nine days in two hospitals after suffering cardiac arrest on the field on Jan. 2.

Dr. Jamie Nadler, critical care physician and chief quality officer at Kaleida Health, which runs Buffalo General, and the care team lead for Hamlin, said in a statement:

"We have completed a series of tests and evaluations, and in consultation with the team physicians, we are confident that Damar can be safely discharged to continue his rehabilitation at home and with the Bills."

Tua Tagovailoa has been ruled out for Sunday's playoff game between the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.

Tagovailoa has suffered three concussions this season and remains in the protocol. 

Skylar Thompson will likely start at quarterback for Miami. 

Damar Hamlin has return to Buffalo, but remains hospitalized eight days after suffering cardiac arrest on the field.

"Not home quite just yet," the Bills safety said on Twitter. "Still doing & passing a bunch of test. Special thank you to Buffalo General. It's been nothing but love since arrival! Keep me in y'all prayers please!"

Damar Hamlin has been released from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and has returned to Buffalo.

Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest in last Monday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hamlin had been walking around the hospital before his release and will continue his recovery under the care of doctors in Buffalo.
