Bills' Johnson Puts Drop Behind Him

Jul 22, 2014 9:27 AM

Bills wide receiver Steve Johnson has effectively put last Sunday's huge drop behind him. Johnson dropped a ball in the end zone that would have given Buffalo an overtime win over Pittsburgh. "Yeah I've been able to put it behind me," said Johnson, who wore a shirt with "It's All Good" written across it. "I haven't forgotten about it, but I'm ready to move on from it." Johnson posted a message on his Twitter account following Sunday's loss that blamed God for the dropped reception. An upbeat Johnson talked candidly Wednesday about the drop and his controversial tweet. "God is everything," he said. "I feel like he's the Creator, and he's 100 percent good. I simply just asked why. I was not blaming him or any of that. Why would I? But it happened, and the way people took it, is the way they took it. They can say what they want, it's fine with me. I'm still going to keep doing what I have to do to keep being a good receiver."
