There has been a lot of speculation in recent weeks about whether or not Stefon Diggs is unhappy with the Buffalo Bills.

As the Bills kicked off training camp on Wednesday, Diggs attempted to clear the air about his happiness with the team and relationship with his teammates and coaches.

Diggs called the issues and conversations that led to his absence from one mandatory minicamp practice in June a "family matter" and said it was all "water under the bridge."

"I've been in the league going on my ninth year here right now. I've got more football behind me than I do in front of me. My main focus and my only focus is winning. Super Bowls. I mean everybody says they want a Super Bowl, but we've had legitimate chances at this thing," Diggs said. "... We've had everything that we needed. As far as us not getting over the hump, I feel like it's always asked for or cause for a conversation. And I always wanted to have a conversation. And we have an open-door policy. Coach [Sean McDermott] will tell you he has an open-door policy. And I've had those conversations.

"I try to keep a lot of things in-house. But regarding last year, obviously, the way we lost [in the playoffs to the Cincinnati Bengals] was just terrible in any regard. You don't want to lose any game. But we've lost for a couple of years at this point. We've been trying to get over the hump. And obviously it's cause for a lot of frustration. But all in all, as far as with that, I was here, but me and [McDermott] did have a conversation."

Nyheim Hines will miss the 2023 season after suffering a left ACL injury while away from the Buffalo Bills' facility.

Hines, 26, sustained the knee injury when he was struck by a jet ski and will at some point require surgery, according to multiple reports. The running back was sitting on a stationary jet ski when he was struck.

It was not immediately known when and where Hines was hurt.

Nyheim Hines has suffered a significant knee injury and will miss the 2023 season, according to a report.

The Buffalo Bills acquired Hines at the trade deadline last season.

In addition to Hines, the Bills have James Cook, Damien Harris and Latavius Murray at running back.

Ron Raccuia, who played the lead role in negotiating Buffalo's new $1.54 billion stadium deal, is out as the Bills' top executive.

In saying the sides had parted ways, owner Terry Pegula cited a monthslong evaluation of the team's business side in determining a need to "revamp and improve our structure."

As part of the shakeup, Pegula announced John Roth will assume Raccuia's titles as executive vice president and COO.

Roth will now split his duties between the Bills and the Pegula-owned Buffalo Sabres, where he has served as the NHL team's COO after being hired in January.

Josh Allen says Stefon Diggs' absence from the first day of the Buffalo Bills' mandatory minicamp practice was not as big a deal as it was made out to be.

"I love him. That's my guy," Allen said of Diggs on Bussin With the Boys. "The media has blown this so far out of proportion . We are in minicamp. We're not playing a game for four months. He doesn’t show up for one day, he's still there, coach asked him to go home, they're in talks, they're trying to resolve some things. They're still talking about it. Let it go. There's no reason to continue talking about it."

At the time, Sean McDermott said he was "very concerned" about Diggs' absence from minicamp.
