Faulk Offers To Guide Gore In San Francisco
Legendary running back Marshall Faulk has offered to help 49ers' runner Frank Gore should he need assistance with Mike Martz's offensive system, according to the Marin Independent Journal.
Faulk has even offered to fly out to San Francisco to help Gore for a weekend.
Gore seems prepared to thrive under Martz this fall. "I want to show people that I can do it all, run, catch, block," he said. "A lot of people feel that I'm just a running back."
"Frank is a much better inside runner than I ever was. That's good for Mike because it gives him another weapon," Faulk said.
