Rams Have Already Sold 63,000 Season Tickets

Jun 27, 2016 7:21 AM

The Los Angeles Rams have already sold 63,000 season tickets, according to COO Kevin Demoff.

The team's goal is to sell 70,000 and leave the remaining seats for single-game sales.

The Rams plan to configure the L.A. Coliseum at a capacity of 80,000, although they can open it up for 90,000 fans if there are big games.

"This has really been a labor of love over the past five months to get this team up and running in every facet," Demoff said. "Our group has been working tirelessly. I must say, the warm reception we have received from everybody in this community has been unbelievable."

Rams Will Open Camp With Case Keenum As No. 1 Quarterback

Jun 17, 2016 8:42 AM

The Los Angeles Rams drafted Jared Goff first overall, but Case Keenum will be their No. 1 quarterback when they open training camp.

Jeff Fisher says Goff will get work with the first team offense until he feels the rookie is ready.

"We'll start him when he's ready," Fisher said. "I didn't say that to imply he was going to start the opener. I said we have options. He could start anywhere from the opener to whenever. We haven't changed our philosophy on that. We're gonna coach him to be successful and not going to put him in with a chance to fail."

Speed Of NFL Starting To 'Slow Down' For Jared Goff

Jun 15, 2016 9:07 AM

Jared Goff took first-team reps for the Los Angeles Rams during multiple 11-on-11 periods during Tuesday's OTAs.

The first overall pick said grasping the speed of the NFL has already begun to slow.

"I think there's definitely a higher speed, especially when you're with that group of 'ones' on defense, it's definitely (a) difference in speed," Goff said. "But I think, like I said a couple times now, as time went on in practice, through the last eight practices, I've started to slow down. At first it was fast, and then you get more comfortable when you see stuff more often, you see the looks a few more times. And it starts to slow down a little bit."

Todd Gurley Has Lost 10-15 Pounds

Jun 3, 2016 5:24 PM

Todd Gurley was surprised to see that he lost 10-15 pounds when he weighted in at the Los Angeles Rams' organized team activities recently.

"I don't know what happened this offseason," Gurley said. "I was just losing weight. It's probably just having the first offseason not doing anything for about a month or two. I feel fine how I am so I'm not going to add weight."

Gurley, 21, ran for 1,106 yards and 10 touchdowns as a rookie last season.

Jared Goff Feels He's Picking Things Up Quickly

Jun 2, 2016 8:33 AM

Jared Goff, who began OTAs with the Los Angeles Rams this week, believes that he's picking things up quickly as a professional quarterback.

"I wouldn't know any other way, I guess," Goff told the Rams' team website. "I'm picking it up at a pretty good pace, I think, and feel really good as far as how fast I pick it up. And I'm able to apply most of it out here. Again, there's mistakes, but that happens. I'm young and learning. So when there is a mistake, just learn from it, and try not to let it happen again."

Goff hasn't yet started working with L.A.'s first team offense.
