Davante Adams has called joining the Las Vegas Raiders "a dream come true."

Adams said he and Derek Carr didn't "scheme" to get the wide receiver traded to the Raiders for a Fresno State reunion, but the two did talk a lot.

"It's something we were definitely looking forward to, potentially, doing down the road," Adams said.

"But obviously, me playing in Green Bay, a great situation, having, you know, the greatest quarterback to play the game (in Aaron Rodgers), that's a dream in itself. So, I'll never take away anything away from, anything Green Bay gave me, or Aaron gave me. It was an amazing opportunity to work over there and do what I did for almost a decade. But, you know, things change sometimes. It's not the first time that an impactful player to an organization had to leave. I feel like it worked out for both sides, ultimately."

The Green Bay Packers have agreed to trade Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders for a 2022 first and 2022 second.

Adams will sign a five-year, $141.25 million deal with the Raiders. 

The Packers were reportedly willing to match contract terms, but Adams preferred to play elsewhere. Adams was teammates in college with Derek Carr. 

Aaron Rodgers was also briefed on the talks as they unfolded in recent days. 

The Green Bay Packers have agreed to terms on a new deal with De'Vondre Campbell, according to a report.

The linebacker has re-signed for $50 million over five years.

Campbell, 28, will get $16.25 million in Year 1, $21.5 million in first two years and $32.25 million by Year 3, per the report.

Davante Adams has informed the Green Bay Packers that he won't play on the franchise tag in 2022, according to a report.

The Packers placed the $20.145 million tag on Adams before the March 8 deadline to do so. The two sides are still far apart on a contract extension.

They have until July 15 to reach a deal or the wide receiver will enter the 2022 season under the tag.

Aaron Rodgers has confirmed on Twitter that he will return to the Green Bay Packers for the 2022 season.

The two sides are working on a new contract that would lower his salary-cap figure for the upcoming league year.

Rodgers, however, said a deal has not yet been signed or agreed upon.

The Green Bay Packers have placed the franchise tag on Davante Adams.

The Packers planned on tagging Adams regardless of the status of Aaron Rodgers as he was set to become a free agent on March 16th.

Adams and the Packers can negotiate a long-term deal, but he will have a salary of $20.1 million if a deal isn't reached.

The franchise-tag total represents a 20% increase over Adams' 2021 compensation.

When asked late last season about the possibility of being tagged, Adams said: "I'm not sure how to answer that safely right now. So, we'll just cross that bridge when we get to it. I'll just say that. I like to be professional on here."

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have agreed to a four-year, $200 million deal that makes him the highest paid player in NFL history.

Rodgers will receive $153 million in guaranteed money as part of the deal. 

Rodgers has won MVP in each of the past two seasons and considered retiring this offseason.

Rodgers sought a trade from the Packers during the 2021 offseason, but the two sides eventually agreed for him to remain with the team and for his future to be decided in 2022. 

The Denver Broncos are a potential trade candidate for Aaron Rodgers should he decide he wants to play elsewhere this offseason.

The Broncos are willing to compete to acquire Rodgers through a new contract and draft pick compensation to the Green Bay Packers.

One source stressed to ESPN that the Packers would want so much in compensation that a trade would be difficult to execute. 

The Pittsburgh Steelers are believed to have inquired on Rodgers, but their level of involvement is unclear. 

The Green Bay Packers have presented a significant long-term contract offer to Aaron Rodgers that would alter the quarterback market.

Green Bay is more than $27 million over the cap just nine days before the start of the new league year. Green Bay's offer of a three-year to four-year deal to Rodgers would allow them to maintain cap flexibility. 

Rodgers is weighing his options but is expected to make a decision soon about his future in the NFL. He previously hinted on "The Pat McAfee Show" that he'd like to make his decision by the franchise tender deadline Tuesday, when the Packers need to decide whether to use the tag on star wide receiver Davante Adams.

Rodgers has one year left on his deal and would count $46.1 million against the cap, a number that will no doubt be lowered by an extension should he decide to return. 

The Green Bay Packers have resumed negotiations with Jaire Alexander on a contract extension, according to a report.

"Usually the extensions take place in the spring or into the summer," Ian Rapoport stated, "but this is certainly someone the Packers want to keep around for a very long time."

Alexander, 25, is due $13.3 million in 2022, the final year of his rookie deal.
