The San Francisco 49ers have "strong interest" in linebacker De'Vondre Campbell, according to a report.

The Niners tried to sign another linebacker earlier this week, but Eric Kendricks backed out of a deal and opted to sign with the Dallas Cowboys instead. 

Campbell was released by the Green Bay Packers this offseason.

Aaron Jones has agreed to a one-year, $7 million deal with the Minnesota Vikings.

Jones spent seven seasons with the Green Bay Packers and was released 

Xavier McKinney has agreed to a four-year, $68 million deal with the Green Bay Packers, according to a report.

The 24-year-old's new deal ranks as the fourth highest in average per year ($17 million) and total value ($68 million) among all safety contracts.

McKinney was a standout for the New York Giants on defense in 2023.

The Green Bay Packers have signed Josh Jacobs to a four-year, $48 million deal. In a related move, the Packers have released Aaron Jones.

Jacobs' deal also includes $12.5 million guaranteed.

In 2023, Jacobs had lows in games played (13), rushing yards (805), yards per carry (3.5), rushing touchdowns (6), rushing first downs (34) and yards from scrimmage (1,101).
