The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a one-year deal with Ronald Jones, a week after cutting ties with Ezekiel Elliott.

Jones will provide depth behind Tony Pollard, who will play the 2023 season on the $10.091 million franchise tag.

After spending the first four years of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jones played six games for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022.

The Las Vegas Raiders have signed O.J. Howard following a visit on Monday, according to a report.

A former first-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the tight end spent the 2022 season with the Houston Texans. He caught just 10 passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns.

The Raiders are also set to host free-agent tight end Austin Hooper on a visit on Wednesday.

Las Vegas traded Darren Waller to the New York Giants last week.

The Buffalo Bills have reached an agreement on a one-year deal with Damien Harris, according to a source.

The agreement came just hours after Devin Singletary left to sign a one-year deal with the Houston Texans.

Singletary has led Buffalo in rushing since being selected in the third round of the 2019 NFL draft.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson has agreed to a one-year, $8 million deal with the Detroit Lions, according to a source.

The Philadelphia Eagles made a multiyear offer to keep Gardner-Johnson at the beginning of free agency which he didn't accept, according to a source, so the Eagles pivoted and moved forward without the safety.

A fourth-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in 2019, he has 11 interceptions, 36 passes defended and 20 tackles for loss over four seasons.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed guard Isaac Seumalo to a three-year deal, according to sources.

Seumalo is the second offensive lineman the Steelers have signed this offseason, joining Nate Herbig.

Both Herbig and Seumalo have ties to first-year Steelers assistant general manager Andy Weidl, who spent six seasons in the Philadelphia Eagles' front office, including three as the vice president of player personnel.

A left guard for most of his career, Seumalo switched to right guard for the 2022 season and offers the Steelers flexibility on the interior of the line.

The Houston Texans have made Laremy Tunsil the highest-paid offensive lineman in the NFL after agreeing to a three-year, $75 million extension, according to sources.

The deal includes a $30 million signing bonus with $50 million fully guaranteed and $60 million in total guarantees.

Tunsil said in December that he wanted to "reset the market" and become the highest-paid offensive tackle.

The Philadelphia Eagles will sign Marcus Mariota to a one-year deal worth $5 million, according to a source.

Mariota's contract could be worth as much as $8 million.

The Atlanta Falcons released Mariota on Feb. 28. He started the first 13 games of the 2022 season for the Falcons and will now serve as the No. 2 behind Jalen Hurts.

The Chicago Bears have agreed to one-year deals with tight end Robert Tonyan and running back D'Onta Foreman, according to sources.

Foreman receives a $3 million deal.

Tonyan will pair with Cole Kmet at tight end for the Bears.

The Philadelphia Eagles have reached an agreement on a $42 million extension with Darius Slay, according to his agents.

Slay's new deal carries $23 million in fully guaranteed money. The cornerback had been scheduled to enter the final year of his three-year, $50 million deal.

With the extension, which is for two years, he is now under contract for the next three seasons.

Slay's future with the Eagles went back-and-forth over the last week. It was reported late last week that the Eagles gave Slay permission to seek a trade, then it was rumored that he'd be released when the new league year started.

The New England Patriots have agreed to a one-year deal with Mike Gesicki that is worth up to $9 million, according to sources.

Mike Gesicki will pair with Hunter Henry at tight end for the Patriots, who traded Jonnu Smith to the Atlanta Falcons earlier this week.

Bill Belichick has long admired Gesicki, saying in recent years: "He's a hard guy to cover. Long. Crafty route runner. He can get down the field. Very good hands. Makes some acrobatic catches, has enough quickness to separate. He's really, I would say, more of a big receiver than a true tight end, but he functions a little bit in that spot."
