Rodgers, Wilson, Peyton Rank As NFL's Best QBs Under Pressure

Oct 31, 2014 6:11 AM

Pro Football Focus studied how quarterbacks performed when under pressure over the past five seasons, finding that Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Peyton Manning, Ryan Tannehill and Robert Griffin III scored the best.

JaMarcus Russell, Brett Favre, Sam Bradford, Matthew Stafford and Donovan McNabb were the worst when under pressure.

Rodgers Hopes Packers Normalize Relationship With Favre

Nov 29, 2014 1:19 AM

Aaron Rodgers is in favor of a reunion between the Green Bay Packers and Brett Favre.

"It's been too long," Rodgers said. "You know, our country and the state of Wisconsin, these people are a people of second and third and fourth chances. I think it's time to let the healing process begin for those who are still upset for what went down."

The relationship between Favre and the Packers has been frayed since 2008.

Favre and Rodgers made a surprise joint appearance at the NFL Honors awards show earlier this year to present Peyton Manning his Comeback Player of the Year Award.

Rodgers hopes Favre's No. 4 jersey is retired by the Packers before he is eventually inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Randall Cobb Prepared For Big Increase In Offense

Jul 15, 2014 3:05 PM

Randall Cobb will certainly again play an increased role in the Green Bay Packers' offense this season due to the departure of Greg Jennings to the Minnesota Vikings and Donald Driver to retirement.

The Packers will feature Cobb, Jordy Nelson, James Jones and Jermichael Finley as the key receiving threats.

“I think definitely with Donald retiring and Greg leaving, it’s definitely going to be a lot more weight on me, James and Jordy’s shoulders,” Cobb said. “But we’re taking on the challenge head-on. We’ve been really excited to get back and work. We’ve got some young guys, some drafted guys that’s coming in. We’re excited to get back to work and see how it’s going to turn out this year.”

Cobb will likely step away from kickoff and return duties since he will be an every down player on offense.

“I really don’t think I’ve peaked yet,” Cobb said. “I’m 22 years old. I’ve got a lot of learning still to do. I have a long way to go and I just hope I continue to get better over the next years.”

Packers Making History With 100-Yard Rusher Drought

Nov 15, 2014 1:06 PM

The Green Bay Packers have gone 43 straight regular season games without a 100-yard rusher.

The Packers drafted Eddie Lacy out of Alabama and Johnathan Franklin out of UCLA to improve their rushing attack.

Since 1960, only seven teams have gone longer than 43 games without a 100-yard rusher.

The Washington Redskins went 72 games without a 100-yard rusher between December of 1961 and October of 1967.

Brandon Jackson was the Packers' last 100-yard rusher, gaining 115 in October of 2010.
