Cleveland traded Mingo to New England late last week.

"It's a huge culture shock," he said. "I felt like the winning spirit was making its way into Cleveland with those new coaches, but it's definitely been established here for a long time, and I'm excited to be a part of it."

Browns Trade Punter Andy Lee To Panthers

The Cleveland Browns have traded Andy Lee and a 2017 seventh-round draft pick to the Carolina Panthers for Kasey Redfern and a fourth-round pick in 2018.

The trade comes a few days after Hue Jackson got into Lee's face after the punter allowed a touchdown in a preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Jackson wasn't pleased with Lee's effort in trying to stop Tampa Bay returner Adam Humphries from scoring.

Browns Sought 2nd Round Pick For Josh Gordon

Aug 27, 2016 1:29 PM

The Cleveland Browns sought a second rounder for Josh Gordon.

"Listening (to trade offers) is probably a mischaracterization. We've said all we needed to say about it. We're not looking to trade Josh," Sashi Brown said Thursday.

Gordon hasn't played a game since December 2014 and will serve a four-game suspension to open the season.

Gordon said Tuesday he doesn't want to be traded.

"Cleveland is my team. That's where I want to be," Gordon told ESPN.com. "(Browns owner Jimmy) Haslam, the organization, coach (Hue) Jackson, I think the world of those guys, this city, this organization. They're showing me the love and respect back to me by allowing me to stay here up to this point.

"I expect to move forward with that. I'm excited about it. This is where I want to be and I'm happy to be with Cleveland."

Browns May Have Floated Out Josh Gordon Rumors To Increase Interest

Aug 24, 2016 2:39 PM

It was reported on Tuesday that the Cleveland Browns have fielded trade offers for Josh Gordon, but another report indicates that the club may have planted the story because they are considering dealing the wide receiver.

"There is a cynical point of view out there that the Browns floated the story of interest in Gordon to promote more activity," writes long-time Cleveland reporter Tony Grossi.

The rumors started with a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter. Grossi currently works for ESPN as well.

Browns Receiving Significant Trade Interest On Josh Gordon

Aug 24, 2016 8:57 AM

The Cleveland Browns have received interest from multiple teams about the availability of Josh Gordon.

The Browns are not currently interested in trading Gordon.

Cleveland has tried to establish an environment in which Gordon could thrive, and many around the league believe that first-year head coach Hue Jackson is the right coach for him.

Gordon will be suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season.

Gordon led the NFL with 1,646 receiving yards in the 2013 season but was suspended for 27 of the next 32 games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Joe Haden: Josh Gordon 'Looks The Exact Same'

Aug 23, 2016 6:53 AM

Josh Gordon is practicing with the first-team offense of the Cleveland Browns and showing flashes of the talent that allowed him to lead the NFL in receiving three years ago.

Gordon has played in only five games since 2013 and sat out all of last season on a substance abuse suspension.

"He still looks the exact same and it's just crazy," Joe Haden said. "He looks a little bigger. I don't know how that happened, but he's still out there running around, looking the same, running his routes, floating. It still looks effortless."

Josh Gordon Takes Part In Walkthrough, Has Lost Weight

Aug 15, 2016 7:45 AM

Josh Gordon hasn't practiced with the Cleveland Browns because of a quadriceps injury, but he took part in Sunday's walkthrough and is close to getting the green light.

The Browns have worked to ensure Gordon is fit enough to practice once he's cleared and that he'll be able to contribute once his four-game suspension is over.

"No, I don't think it will be about conditioning," Hue Jackson said. "There's been a process that we've put in place to get him to where he needs to be overall, not just the conditioning, not just this or that. It's encompassing everything to make sure that when he is out here, he's out here for the time he's here -- obviously, we know he won't be around for the first four weeks -- and then making sure that after that time he'll be where he needs to be when he's able to get back."

Jackson said Gordon was overweight when he returned to the Browns after his reinstatement, but that "some of its come off already."
