Josh Brown says he is returning to the Cleveland Browns a changed man after his one-year suspension.

Gordon did not apologize for missing last season due to multiple violations of the NFL's substance-abuse policy, but he did say he was "tremendously excited" to be given another chance and "grateful" the Browns took him back.

"I definitely think I'm a different person," he said. "If you haven't changed over a period of time, that's a bad thing. I think me standing here is a testament to that. Most people might not see it that way. That just comes with the territory of me being who I am, considering my past."

The Cleveland Browns haven't named Robert Griffin III their starting quarterback, but it appears to be his job to lose.

Longtime Cleveland reporter Tony Grossi says Griffin will receive four out of every five reps with the first team offense during training camp.

At the moment, the Browns appear to have Josh McCown second on the depth chart with Cody Kessler and Austin Davis third and fourth, respectively.

Josh Gordon is being reinstated by the NFL.

Gordon will be suspended for the first four games of the 2016 NFL season.

Gordon had 87 receptions, 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns in 2013 over 14 games.

In 2014, Gordon had 24 catches and 303 yards over five games. Gordon was suspended for the entire 2015 season.

Roger Goodell met with Josh Gordon in person on Wednesday to discuss his potential return to the field, according to sources.

No decision is imminent for Gordon, who can't reapply for reinstatement until Aug. 1.

Suspended a number of times, Gordon failed another drug test in March, which prompted the NFL to deny his application for reinstatement and delay his potential return.

He hasn't played in a game since December 2014.

Chad Johnson will spend part of training camp working out with wide receivers as a guest instructor for the Cleveland Browns.

Johnson knows Hue Jackson from his days with the Bengals, so he reached out to the head coach about a job coaching. He will not be part of the team's coaching staff.

The Cleveland Browns voided Johnny Manziel's remaining guaranteed money before cutting him, according to numerous sources.

The NFL Players Association didn't file a grievance in response to the voided guarantee, likely because Cleveland's case for voiding the guarantees was regarded as open and shut.
