Browns' Anderson To Start Against Ravens
Derek Anderson's first two NFL starts for the Cleveland Browns couldn't get much tougher.
"Hey, that's the way it goes in this division (AFC North)," Anderson said Friday. "Every game is going to be tough. It's a good opportunity."
Anderson, drafted and released by the Ravens last year, will make his second career start on Sunday against his former team. For the second straight week Anderson is filling in for Charlie Frye, who bruised his right wrist two weeks ago against Kansas City and hasn't been able to throw a ball since.
Steelers' Porter Fined For Remarks To Winslow
Pittsburgh linebacker Joey Porter has been fined $10,000 by the NFL for what league spokesman Steve Alic called "vulgar, inexcusable statements" to Cleveland's Kellen Winslow last Thursday.
Incensed by a late hit on one of his teammates in the fourth quarter by Winslow, Porter made a derogatory slur questioning the Cleveland tight end's sexual orientation following the game.

Joey Porter should expect to hear from the NFL after he referred to Kellen Winslow as a slur that is associated with a person's sexual orientation Thursday night.
The Steelers beat the Browns 27-7 at Heinz Field and afterward Porter was still fuming about a play in which Winslow got called for a personal foul for a late hit on Steelers linebacker James Farrior.
"It was late, that's what (slur) do," Porter said. "He's soft. He wants to be tough but he's really soft."
