Joe Flacco has been named the 2023 Associated Press NFL Comeback Player of the Year.

Flacco narrowly won the award over Damar Hamlin. Hamlin, however, had 21 first place votes to Flacco's 13.

Flacco's 1,616 passing yards and 13 TDs are both the most in NFL history by a QB who made his debut in the final six games of a season.

Kevin Stefanski beat out DeMeco Ryans to win the 2023 Associated Press NFL Coach of the Year.

Stefanski and Ryans each had 165 points, but Stefanski had one additional first place vote.

Dan Campbell, Kyle Shanahan and John Harbaugh rounded out the top-5.

Myles Garrett has been named the Associated Press 2023 Defensive Player of the Year.

Garrett edged T.J. Watt, 165-140, in the voting. Garrett earned 23 first-place votes, while Watt had 11. 

Micah Parsons finished third and had seven first place votes. 

Garrett finished in the top 10 in every notable statistical category: sacks, QB hits (eighth), tackles for loss (tied for seventh), QB pressures (tied for ninth), and forced fumbles (tied for fifth).

The Cleveland Browns are allowing Bill Callahan out of his contract to join his son, Brian Callahan, with the Tennessee Titans.

Brian Callahan was hired last month as head coach of the Titans.

Bill Callahan is one of the NFL's best offensive line coaches. Callahan was head coach of the Raiders (2002-03) and at the University of Nebraska (2004-07).
