Jul 15, 2016 8:32 PM

Karlos Williams has been suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season for a drug offense.

Williams had a breakout rookie season in 2015 for the Buffalo Bills at running back, complementing LeSean McCoy.

Bills officials say they're disappointed in Williams and will work to help him "in making better decisions moving forward."

LeSean McCoy Won't Be Suspended By NFL

Jul 13, 2016 11:51 AM

LeSean McCoy won't face NFL discipline from his incident in a Philadelphia club in February.

The league will not punish McCoy, an NFL spokesman told NFL Media's Mike Garafolo on Wednesday. McCoy and three others stood accused of allegedly assaulting a pair of off-duty police officers but was never formally charged.

The Buffalo Bills are hoping McCoy returns to form in his second season with the franchise.

Tyrod Taylor Focused On Winning Games, Not Contract

Jul 11, 2016 3:06 PM

Tyrod Taylor isn't worried about his contract status with the Buffalo Bills.

"The contract situation will play out. My mindset is to go out there and win games," Taylor said. "Do whatever it takes to win games, lead the guys, be the leader on the field, off the field and a commander. But I'm not necessarily focused on the contract. I can't control that. ... I've always been one that focuses on the things I can control, and that's going to be my preparation and how I go out there and play. I'll let everything else take care of itself."

Taylor is set to earn little more than $3 million in 2016 and offseason contract talks spawned little movement on a long-term deal.

In his first season as a starter, Taylor played well, completing 63.7 percent of his passes and threw 20 touchdowns to just six interceptions.

Biopsy Shows No Cancer For Jim Kelly

Jul 8, 2016 7:58 AM

Jim Kelly underwent a biopsy on Thursday, and preliminary results showed no return of cancer, according to a post on his wife's Instagram account.

Kelly had the procedure in New York City after his latest scans following extensive treatment for cancer of the jaw were inconclusive.

The former quarterback, who led the Buffalo Bills to four consecutive Super Bowl appearances in the 1990s, said last week at his annual football camp that he felt good and was cleared to work out. He first announced he had cancer in his jaw in 2013.

Marquise Goodwin Fails To Qualify For Olympics

Jul 5, 2016 10:15 AM

Marquise Goodwin failed to make the U.S. Olympic team in Sunday's trials final despite having had the two longest leaps in the world earlier this year.

Goodwin finished seventh with a long jump of 27 feet, ¾ inches, more than a foot short of Jeffery Henderson's winning jump of 28 2 ¼ inches.

"At the time, it's frustrating, but you really can't dwell on that," the Buffalo Bills wide receiver said. "Life is too good to harp on a situation like that. Maybe at the time I can be a little disappointed, but now I'm alive, and there is so much more to look forward to."
