The San Francisco 49ers have the NFL's most expensive offense with $120.4 million of their 2018 salary cap dollars committed to their offensive players.

That number is before signing their first round pick Mike McGlinchey.

The 49ers front-loaded Jimmy Garoppolo's $137.5 million deal with $37 million against the cap in 2018.

The 49ers also signed center Weston Richburg and running back Jerrick McKinnon to lucrative front-loaded deals, before giving a raise to left tackle Joe Staley.

The San Francisco 49ers have released Zane Beadles.

Beadles lost his starting offensive lineman job last season.

John Lynch indicated that the 49ers let Beadles go now so he can maximize his opportunity to find another job.

"Zane is a consummate professional and has represented our organization with exceptional class," Lynch said. "He is an unselfish guy who stepped up in a big way for our team last year, and we can't thank him enough for all his contributions to the organization and our community. Zane is just the kind of player and person we would always be open to welcoming back down the road, but releasing him now provides ample opportunity to find the right situation with his next team. We wish him and his family all the best as he moves forward in his career."

Beadles, 31, signed a three-year, $9.75 million contract with the 49ers in 2016.

Eric Reid has filed a grievance under the NFL's collective bargaining agreement, alleging collusion has denied him a job for the upcoming 2018 season.

Reid is represented by attorney Mark Geragos, who also represents Colin Kaepernick in his collusion grievance.

The NFL declined to comment on the grievance.

Reid met with the Cincinnati Bengals last month for what has been his only free-agent visit, according to reports.
