Andrew Luck Continues To Throw Without Pain

Jun 29, 2018 8:22 AM

As training camp approaches, Andrew Luck is still throwing a football without pain.

The Indianapolis Colts quarterback hasn't played in a game since the 2016 season.

"No, no, no, not at all," Luck said when asked about any pain.

"I've put a lot of work in. And it's paying off. My goal is not to get to training camp and plateau. It's to keep getting better and better."

Adam Vinatieri Isn't Ready To Discuss Retirement

Jun 20, 2018 7:53 AM

Adam Vinatieri, 45, is entering his 23rd season in the NFL but he's not ready to contemplate a life without football.

George Blanda is the oldest to have played in the NFL. He played until age 48.

"I love it as much today as I had when I started 23 years ago," Vinatieri said. "I'm not looking to hang them up anytime soon, unless something happens that needs to be that way."

He also admitted that he's thought about catching some legends.

"I guess I'll take these one year at a time and see where it ends up," he said. "I would anticipate if I can stay healthy and be productive, I can anticipate catching up to Morten (Andersen) midseason or thereabout, and I guess at the end of the year I'd be 46."

If Vinatieri makes seven field goals this season, he'll match Andersen (565) for most kicked in a career. He also only needs 58 points to pass Andersen on the most career points list. Anderson tops the list with 2,544 points; Vinatieri has 2,487.

Colts Will Limit Andrew Luck In Training Camp

Jun 18, 2018 9:08 AM

Andrew Luck threw a football last week, but the Indianapolis Colts will still take it easy with their quarterback.

The Colts want to make sure Luck avoids a setback as he continues to recover. They also plan to monitor his practice reps, to try to mirror his workload during the regular season.

Andrew Luck Throws In Front Of Media For First Time Since October

Jun 12, 2018 4:26 PM

Andrew Luck threw in front of the media for the first time since he was shut down for the season last October.

Luck had surgery on his right shoulder in January of 2017 and missed the entire 2018 season.

Luck made 20-25 throws with a high school sized ball.

Luck said in April that his goal is to enter training camp in late July without any restrictions on his right shoulder.

"There's a process," Luck said on April 10. "I've gone and skipped steps before and paid for it. Been in pain and not able to help the team. Embarrassed, guilty, whatever. I'm not going to do that again. I trust the people I'm working with. More importantly, I trust myself in this process. I trust how I feel."

Chuck Pagano: Andrew Luck Got Me More Years With Colts

Jun 5, 2018 11:35 AM

While making an appearance on FS1's "First Things First," Chuck Pagano had high praise for Andrew Luck.

Luck missed last season with a shoulder injury and the Indianapolis Colts fired Pagano after a 4-12 record.

"I love Andrew Luck," Pagano told FS1. "He got me more years than I probably deserved. He's a phenom."

Pagano and Luck had early success with the Colts with three consecutive 11-5 seasons and postseason appearances from 2012 to 2015.
