Ronnie Stanley, Ravens Agree To Five-Year, $98.75M Extension

Oct 30, 2020 11:28 AM

The Baltimore Ravens and Ronnie Stanley have agreed to a five-year, $98.75 million extension.

The deal only trails the $22 million per season average Laremy Tunsil signed with the Houston Texans.

The extension keeps Stanley protecting Lamar Jackson's blind side through the 2025 season.

"Ronnie is the mainstay on our offensive line," Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said. "He's a shutdown left tackle who excels on the field and in our community. This is just the beginning for Ronnie, and we could not be happier for him and his family."

Through seven weeks this season, Stanley has a pass-block win rate of 96.8%, the highest among qualified offensive tackles.

Ravens Acquire Yannick Ngakoue From Vikings

Oct 22, 2020 1:55 PM

The Minnesota Vikings have traded Yannick Ngakoue to the Baltimore Ravens for a 2021 third round pick and a 2022 conditional fifth round pick.

Ngakoue will fly to Baltimore in the next 24 hours to go through COVID-19 testing.

The Vikings acquired Ngakoue from the Jaguars before the start of the season. Ngakoue had hoped to be traded to the Ravens all along as a native of the area.

"We are excited to add Yannick Ngakoue to our football team," Baltimore GM Eric DeCosta said. "Yannick is someone who we are very familiar with going back to the draft process years ago. He is an exciting player and a dangerous pass-rusher who makes us better. Yannick grew up here. He's the type of person we welcome in our building. Finally, we are not finished building this team, as we continue to chase our ultimate goals."

Marlon Humphrey, Ravens Agree To Five-Year, $98.75M Extension

Oct 1, 2020 3:20 PM

Marlon Humphrey and the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to a five-year extension worth $98.75 million.

Humphrey will become the NFL's second highest paid cornerback behind Jalen Ramsey.

"For me, being the highest paid was never really a factor," Humphrey said. "The biggest thing for me was staying a Raven. I remember when I first got here, me and Chris Moore used to joke around saying, 'Ravens for life.' It's a very good feeling to actually be one."

Humphrey has been the Ravens' top defensive playmaker over the past three seasons. Since entering the league in 2017, he is one of two NFL players to produce at least 40 passes defensed, eight interceptions, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
