Trevor Lawrence Has Surgery On Non-Throwing Shoulder

Trevor Lawrence underwent surgery on his left (non-throwing) shoulder Tuesday in California.

Lawrence, widely expected to be the No. 1 overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars, can start throwing in four to six weeks and is expected to be ready for training camp, according to a source.

The procedure, performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, was to repair damage to the labrum in his left shoulder.

Tom Brady will undergo a minor surgical procedure on his knee this offseason, according to a source.

The surgery isn't a result of a recent injury and Brady has been planning the procedure for months, the source said. It's not clear which knee will be operated on.

Brady was not listed on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' injury report all season.

Patrick Mahomes will undergo surgery for the turf toe injury that bothered him late in the season and throughout the playoffs.

Mahomes is expected to miss most of offseason work with the team but be full go by training camp.

"I can't say the toe was a problem when I played two weeks ago and I played well on it,'' he said. "Anytime you play football, you have to battle through injuries.''

Trevor Lawrence will throw for NFL teams on February 12th instead of participating in Clemson's scheduled pro day next month.

Lawrence will undergo surgery to repair the labrum in his left shoulder after that workout.

Lawrence is expected to be recovered for the start of training camp.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are widely expected to select Lawrence first overall.
