Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall expects to play against the Chiefs on Sunday despite a hamstring injury.
Marshall suffered the injury on Wednesday and Denver needs a win against Kansas City to help their playoff chances.
He sat out practice for the second straight day Thursday with a strained right hamstring.
Coughlin: Jacobs Needs Knee Surgery
Giants running back Brandon Jacobs needs knee surgery.
He will miss New York's season finale against Minnesota due to the injury, which has bothered him at times this season.
Giants coach Tom Coughlin on Wednesday announced that Jacobs will have arthroscopic surgery next week.
Charles Tillman Still In Hospital
Bears cornerback Charles Tillman remains in the hospital as he recovers from a bruised lung and several cracked ribs.
According to a league source, he is stable condition but will remain in the hospital for several days.
Tillman has all but been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lions.
Stafford Has Successful Knee Surgery
Lions rookie quarterback Matthew Stafford has undergone successful surgery on his right knee.
Stafford had what the Lions called minor surgery on Tuesday. He was placed on injured reserve last week.
Stafford completed 201 of 377 passes for 2,267 yards with 13 touchdowns and 20 interceptions this season.
Polamalu May Not Make Return
Steelers safety Troy Polamalu could miss Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Polamalu, out for the last six games and most of a seventh with a left knee injury, only began running on Monday.
He has yet to begun cutting, turning or twisting, moves needed to play in a game.
"[Monday] was a positive step," coach Mike Tomlin said. "The door's not closed on him participating. ... He's just progressing, trying to get him ready, hopefully to play."
Chicago's Tillman Suffers Rib Injury
Bears defensive back Charles Tillman suffered a rib injury while making a tackle in the fourth quarter of Monday night's win over the Vikings.
He had to be wheeled off the field on a stretcher.
Bills Hope Fitzpatrick Can Face Colts
The Bills are hoping that starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick will be able to play on Sunday against the Colts.
Saying "we think he'll be better," interim head coach Perry Fewell was optimistic that Fitzpatrick will play despite missing this past Sunday's game with an ankle injury.
Carolina's Smith Suffers Broken Arm
Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith broke his left arm in Sunday's win over the Giants.
Carolina coach John Fox said that Smith broke his radius and will have surgery on Monday.
He appeared to suffer the injury after catching a 27-yard touchdown pass early in the third quarter.
Saints Lose Thomas To Bruised Ribs
Saints running back Pierre Thomas left Sunday's game against the Buccaneers with bruised ribs.
Thomas appeared to suffer the injury on a 26-yard run in the second quarter. He finished with 60 yards and a touchdown against Tampa Bay.
Vick Questionable Against Broncos
Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
He missed practice on Friday with the quadriceps bruise he suffered against the 49ers last weekend.
"I can't do what I like to do," Vick said.
Vick says that he hasn't run since the injury.
"We're still working with him to see if he can come around and be able to give us something on Sunday," head coach Andy Reid said.
