Giants quarterback Eli Manning says that his injured foot has nothing to do with his mediocre play as of late. Manning is dealing with a stress reaction in his right foot. "In the games it doesn't bother me and I don't think about it. This is not something I am overly concerned with," Manning said. "It has been the same for probably the last three to four weeks, it's nothing new. I can go out and practice and do all I need to do." He doesn't think he'll eventually need surgery on the foot. "It's one of those things that time and rest is probably the biggest thing," Manning said. "Having the weekend and the bye week and off week helped some. Time to rest it is helpful. It is not something I think will linger or bother me."

Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme broke a finger on his throwing hand in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Jets. Carolina coach John Fox said that Delhomme may be replaced by Matt Moore this Sunday against Tampa Bay because of the injury. Delhomme threw four interceptions on Sunday, but Fox said that if the quarterback doesn't play it'll be entirely injury-based. "If his finger wasn't an issue, I couldn't with a straight face make a change just with him," Fox said. "That was a combined effort by the offensive players, not just one player. ... It was poor not just by the quarterback." Delhomme has throw eight touchdowns against 18 interceptions this season.

Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner plans to see an ophthalmologist about lingering post-concussion symptoms. He missed Arizona's 20-17 loss to Tennessee on Sunday night. Warner said he's having issues with his eyes, something he hoped would have subsided last week but never did. He sustained the concussion in the second quarter of Arizona's 21-13 victory at St. Louis and didn't play in the second half of the game.

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan will not play against the Eagles this coming Sunday. Atlanta coach Mike Smith announced the decision on Monday. Ryan suffered a turf toe injury early in Atlanta's win over Tampa Bay.

The Browns have lost tackle Shaun Rogers for the remainder of the season because of a leg injury. A league source told the Cleveland Plain Dealer of the severity. Rogers left Sunday's loss to Cincinnati with the injury, which has been undefined.

Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson left Sunday's win over the Redskins with a head and neck injury. Jackson suffered the injuries when he was hit late on a catch in the third quarter. He had two catches for 41 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game.

The Falcons lost quarterback Matt Ryan and running back Michael Turner in Sunday's comeback win over the Buccaneers. Ryan left in the first quarter with an injured big right toe and didn't return. Turner aggravated a right ankle injury in the third quarter and didn't return to action. Atlanta needed a late score to defeat Tampa Bay.

Bengals running back Cedric Benson will not play against the Browns on Sunday because of a hip injury. Sources told the NFL Network's Jason La Canfora earlier that Benson would be active. He missed last week's loss to Oakland with the injury. Benson has 859 yards and six touchdowns on 205 carries this season.

Falcons running back Michael Turner is expected to play against the Buccaneers on Sunday. He suffered a high ankle sprain just two weeks ago. Turner will test his ankle during warmups, but has shown enough in practice this week that sources expect him to be a part of the action. He has rushed for 831 yards and 10 touchdowns on 165 carries.

Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney will not play in Sunday's game against the Texans. Freeney is suffering from an abdominal injury and did not accompany the team on the trip to Houston. "He was getting better and moving along, but we just feel the best solution is for him to take a few more days to get ready," head coach Jim Caldwell told ESPN on Saturday. Freeney has 9.5 sacks in ten games this season.
