The Green Bay Packers held Aaron Rodgers out of practice on Wednesday with a left knee injury.

A few Miami Dolphins defenders landed on Rodgers in the second quarter of Sunday's game.

"I got a lot of body weight on my knee," Rodgers said. "Had some extra flexion I haven't known for the last 20 years. So just been doing rehab the last few days and feeling a lot better."

Rodgers said he expected to practice this week, possibly on Thursday, in advance of Sunday's must-win game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Derrick Henry is doubtful for Thursday night's matchup between the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys.

The Titans have ruled out eight players already as the team's season will likely come down to a Week 18 battle with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Titans (7-8) and Jaguars (7-8) will play in the final week of the season with the AFC South division title at stake regardless of their Week 17 outcomes.

Mike White will start for the New York Jets this weekend against the Seattle Seahawks after being cleared by doctors.

Zach Wilson will be inactive, meaning he may never play again for the team that drafted him second overall in 2021. Joe Flacco will serve as White's backup.

White missed two games after fracturing at least two ribs on a Dec. 11 against the Buffalo Bills.

The Jets are still alive in the AFC playoff race.

Tua Tagovailoa has entered the NFL's concussion protocol in the wake of the Miami Dolphins' loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Mike McDaniel said Tagovailoa displayed and admitted to having concussion symptoms when he spoke with team doctors Monday and was immediately placed into the protocol.

It marks the second time this season Tagovailoa has been placed into the protocol.

Tagovailoa previously entered the concussion protocol after the Dolphins' game against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4 and was hospitalized briefly then after his head hit the turf.

He went on to miss the team's next two games and returned in Week 7.

Kenneth Walker is listed as questionable to play in Week 16, but Pete Carroll says the Seattle Seahawks running back is expected to face the Kansas City Chiefs.

Walker has been dealing with an ankle injury suffered in the Seahawks' Dec. 4 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

He missed Seattle's next game and returned last Thursday night to play 48 of 64 offensive snaps in a loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Carroll said Walker "should be ready to go" despite not practicing all week. 

Ryan Tannehill will "very likely" miss the remainder of the season with an ankle injury.

Tannehill suffered the injury on Sunday when Khalil Mack landed on his right foot.

Team trainers took Tannehill to the locker room on a cart. The quarterback missed only one offensive series and returned to the game with his right ankle heavily taped.

"We are never going to question his toughness or his willingness to get back and help us win," coach Mike Vrabel said of Tannehil.

Nick Sirianni has confirmed that Jalen Hurts has a sprained right shoulder, but the Philadelphia Eagles aren't ruling him out for Saturday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Sirianni called Hurts one of the "toughest" players he knows and someone who "heals fast," so he isn't going to put a timetable on the injury to the quarterback's throwing shoulder.

"I do not put it past Jalen Hurts, I don't put anything past Jalen Hurts as far as his physical and mental toughness," Sirianni said. "There's a chance he can play this week."

Hurts on Tuesday said there is "definitely a chance" he will be able to play Saturday and he's taking things day by day. He nodded when asked if he's able to throw.

Jalen Hurts is uncertain to play against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday after he sprained his shoulder in the Philadelphia Eagles' win over the Chicago Bears in Week 15, according to league sources.

Hurts was hurt late in the third quarter, when Chicago's Trevis Gipson drove him into ground.

At 13-1, the Eagles need to win just one of their final three games to lock up the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

Jonathan Taylor suffered a high ankle sprain on Saturday in the Indianapolis Colts' historic loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

While the running back is still meeting with doctors, it's considered highly unlikely he'll play again this season.

The Colts are 4-9-1 with three games left in the regular season. They aren't officially eliminated from the AFC playoff picture, but they'd need a huge collapse from both the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tyler Lockett broke a bone in his index finger late in the Seattle Seahawks' loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night.

The Seahawks are still trying to determine the best course of action, Pete Carroll said, and it might be Lockett having surgery with the hope of returning at some point this season.

Carroll said Lockett believes he can return in two weeks.

"There's a couple different ways that they can do the surgery," Carroll said. "One of the ways gives him a chance to be back. Remember Rashaad Penny ... had an injury similar, very similar. So they've already floated that thought and they're going to talk about all the options and all that and we're going to love him up and take care of him. Whatever the right thing to do to take care of him, we're going to do."
