Travis Etienne On Track After Missing Rookie Season

Apr 13, 2022 9:28 AM

Travis Etienne is on track in his rehabilitation from a foot injury that caused him to miss his rookie season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The running back has found some silver linings in missing the team's 2021 season.

"Just seeing the results, you're definitely like, 'Whew, if there was any year to miss, I missed a great one,'" Etienne said.

He's still limited in some of his weight-room work but is doing "the majority of the stuff" in terms of on-field work and is 85-90% recovered from the Lisfranc injury to his left foot that he suffered during a preseason game last August. He expects to be fully cleared by training camp.

Giants, Daniel Jones Say Neck Injury Is In The Past

Apr 5, 2022 8:35 AM

The New York Giants and Daniel Jones are confident about the quarterback's health, having no doubts that his neck issues are in the past.

"Yeah, I'll be cleared and ready to go," Jones said.

Both Jones and the team have been steadfast about their belief that the neck injury he suffered late last year would not be a long-term problem.

Jones is preparing to be the team's starting quarterback again this upcoming season, even with a new general manager and coach in place. New York also signed veteran Tyrod Taylor to a two-year contract last month.
