Cole Beasley told reporters on Monday that he played the final three weeks of the Buffalo Bills' season with a broken fibula.

The Bills listed the wide receiver on the injury report with a knee injury.

It wasn't a full break, but did cause discomfort in Buffalo's wild-card win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Beasley caught 14 passes for 145 yards in the three games he played with the injury.

Patrick Mahomes Cleared To Play In AFC Championship

Jan 23, 2021 8:55 PM

Patrick Mahomes has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol and will play in Sunday's AFC Championship Game.

"Talking to all of the doctors and going through all of the testing, we have the belief that I'll have no lingering effects and I'll be able to go out there and be who I am,'' Mahomes said after clearing the protocol.

"You have to take it day by day. That's the best thing. You can only control what you can control. For me, that was coming in every day with a positive attitude, try to make myself better, try to prepare myself as if I was going to play. Luckily enough, I haven't had any symptoms and I'm able to play.''

Mahomes entered the concussion protocol during last Sunday's win over the Browns.

Saquon Barkley Plans To Do Joint Rehab With Odell Beckham

Jan 21, 2021 9:02 AM

Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham each suffered torn ACLs during the regular season.

Now the former teammates have plans to rehab their injuries together this offseason.

"Obviously Odell tore his knee a little too," Barkley said. "I think we both need just being there. We're really good friends. Competing with each other and pushing each other will also be good too. That's the only thing I know for certain I will do. Everything else is up in the air. ... Obviously we both wouldn't want to go through this, I guess you would say, but I think it's very important that since we are really close and we know each other so well and we are two competitors and we think we can really help each other, I do think it's important to really link up. But at the same time, we both have to come in with the mindset of getting 1 percent better each day. That's what we have to get from each other. Any way you can get it."
