Rams Have Fielded Calls About Bradford
Jeff Fisher admitted on Wednesday that multiple teams have called the Rams about Sam Bradford.
The quarterback will be entering his third season as the team's starter this fall.
Fisher didn't mention any of the interested teams, but Bradford has a connection with Browns coach Pat Shurmur, who served as the St. Louis offensive coordinator in 2010.
Report: Browns Will Visit With Tannehill
The Browns are one of the teams that Ryan Tannehill will visit with before next month's NFL Draft, according to a league source.
After failing to acquire the No. 2 overall pick from the Rams in an effort to select Robert Griffin III, executive Mike Holmgren came out in support of incumbent quarterback Colt McCoy.
Holmgren Assures McCoy He's Still Cleveland's QB
Browns president Mike Holmgren says that he placed a phone call to Colt McCoy to reassure the quarterback of the organization's support.
Cleveland tried unsuccessfully to trade up to the No. 2 spot in next month's NFL draft with an eye toward acquiring Robert Griffin III.
"I just wanted to remind him there's been a lot spoken and a lot written about our situation and other situations around the league, quite frankly," Holmgren said.
"There's a lot mentioned about the draft and potentially what we're going to do. And all he can really control is what he does. All he can really do is become the best player he can be and try and block out all of the rest of the stuff."
Holmgren Upset Over Trade That Will Land Redskins Griffin III
Browns president Mike Holmgren is still upset about the trade between the Redskins and Rams that will allow Washington to draft Robert Griffin III next month.
The Redskins agreed to send several picks to St. Louis for the second selection. The Browns made offers for the pick.
"Honestly, when it didn't happen I think there are reasons that I can't go into right now, but there is a very close relationship between the people getting the deal done and the people who offered," Holmgren said on a conference call with season ticket holders.
"Most of the stories that I have seen - all of them I've seen - were incorrect in what our offer was, when we entered the process and in how we went about it."
Cleveland clearly wanted the second pick and Holmgren hints at a close relationship between Rams head coach Jeff Fisher and his Redskins contemporary, Mike Shanahan.

Report: Browns Aren't Targeting Flynn
The Browns won't sign Matt Flynn and never pursued the quarterback, despite intense rumors.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported as much on Wednesday morning.
"#Browns have not pursued (former Packers backup QB) Matt Flynn and reports that they're set to make offer untrue, league source tells PD," tweeted beat writer Mary Kay Cabot.
The Browns and Dolphins were the two teams most linked to Flynn, while the Seahawks have emerged as a suitor as well.

Cleveland hopes to land Flynn and use their two first-round picks to fill other holes.
The Seahawks could also make a play for the free-agent quarterback.
