Richardson Given 'Hardest In NFL To Tackle' Label By Ravens

Jul 5, 2014 6:56 AM

Trent Richardson averaged just 3.4 yards per carry in his first meeting against the Ravens, but he still impressed his AFC North rivals.

“I think he runs the ball harder than anybody in the league,” defensive end Pernell McPhee told the Ravens' official website. “Not saying he’s the best back in the league, but I’ll say he’s the hardest back in the NFL to tackle.”

Richardson is coming off a career-best 122 yards rushing.

The Ravens have allowed 214, 227 and 181 yards rushing over their past three games.
