The Buffalo Bills have exercised the fifth-year option on Marcell Dareus.
Dareus, the third-overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, will receive a salary of $8.06 million in 2015 (fully guaranteed for injury) as a result of the Bills decision.

The 2014 NFL schedule will begin with the Green Bay Packers playing at the Seattle Seahawks in a Thursday night game in Week 1.
The Sunday night game in Week 1 will feature the Indianapolis Colts at the Denver Broncos.
The Seahawks will play at the San Francisco 49ers in the Week 13/Thanksgiving night game. The two teams meet again in Week 15 on Dec. 14.
Chris Johnson is meeting with the New York Jets on Tuesday.
Johnson hasn't met with any teams since being cut by the Tennessee Titans on April 4.
Johnson would give the Jets a legitimate speed threat along with Chris Ivory.
The Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons have also expressed interest in Johnson.
Donald Trump is interested in purchasing the Buffalo Bills and would keep the team in Buffalo.
Trump told the Buffalo News on Monday that not only would he 'love' to own the Bills, but he wouldn't move the team if he bought them. "I'm going to give it a heavy shot," Trump said of buying the team. "I would love to do it, and if I can do it, I'm keeping it in Buffalo."
Trump has reportedly met with Bills president Russ Brandon twice.
"I live in New York, and it's easier for me to go to Buffalo than any other place," Trump said. "Where am I going to move it, some place on the other side of the country, where I have to travel for five hours?"
The Jacobs family, owner of Delaware North Companies, leads a list of local suitors interested in purchasing the Buffalo Bills.
“I am even more optimistic this week than I was last week that we can keep the Bills in Buffalo,” said Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., who serves on the Bills’ new stadium working group. Schumer would not discuss any potential buyers for the Bills. But, he assured, “We have a lot of tools in our tool kit.”
There are heavy penalties for moving the Bills from Ralph Wilson Stadium until 2019.

The Buffalo Bills have acquired Mike Williams from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a sixth round pick.
The Buccaneers paid Williams $8.2 million last season and the Bills will pay him just $1.8 million this season.
Williams has had off-field issues this offseason.
