Bacarri Rambo Thought Career Might Be Over After September Cut

Dec 16, 2014 10:01 AM

Bacarri Rambo picked off future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers twice in the Buffalo Bills' win over the Green Bay Packers.

Rambo was cut by Washington in September and was out of work for two months.

“It really humbled me,’’ Rambo said from Buffalo on Sunday evening. “I went to work out for some teams, but no one was signing me. You wonder, Is it over? Doesn’t anybody want me?

“For the first pick of my career to come off Aaron Rodgers, that’s incredible,’’ said the former sixth-round pick. “Two, in the same game? I don’t know what to say. It’s a blessing. I am blessed. I just thank the Bill organization for believing in me.”

Bills Terminate Agreement To Play In Toronto

Dec 3, 2014 5:17 PM

The Buffalo Bills have terminated their agreement to play an annual game in Toronto.

The Bills played six regular season games at the Rogers Centre from 2008 until 2013, but announced in March that they'd put the agreement on hold for 2014.

"When we put the series on pause last year, the ultimate goal was to get to this point and it's taken some time to come to a final conclusion," Bills president Russ Brandon said during his weekly appearance Wednesday on WGR 550.

The series had faced dwindling attendance and concerns from Buffalo-area fans about losing a game at Ralph Wilson Stadium each season.

"In hindsight, I know there's a lot of noise about moving games up north, and I understand that completely," Brandon said. "But when we look at what it has done for us regionally and what it has done for us back at Ralph Wilson Stadium, obviously southern Ontario has become a very large market for us as far as fans coming to our games at Ralph Wilson Stadium. That has been a positive."
