A suspect has been arrested and charged with simple assault following an incident at a South Dakota bar that led to the hospitalization of Dallas Goedert.

The Philadelphia Eagles tight end was sucker-punched at the Zoo Bar in Aberdeen, South Dakota, on Friday. Goedert was left unconscious, according to a source.

Goedert has been recovering at his home in South Dakota and is said to be doing "fine," according to those who have spoken with him.

Philadelphia Eagles right guard Brandon Brooks revealed Monday that he recently tore his left Achilles tendon.

"So I guess now that news is out yes I tore my other Achilles but when life gives you lemons you make lemonade. I'll be back and better than ever. Appreciate the love," he wrote on Twitter.

The injury occurred at the Eagles' NovaCare Complex, where Brooks has been rehabbing from late-season shoulder surgery, according to a source.

Brooks had previously ruptured his right Achilles in a 2018 divisional playoff loss to the New Orleans Saints.

The 30-year-old has been selected to three consecutive Pro Bowls. He signed a four-year, $56.5 million extension in November that included $30 million guaranteed.

If the NFL has to play games without fans this fall, DeSean Jackson believes the league should capitalize on the opportunity.

During a YouTube conversation with teammate Lane Johnson, the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver suggested "mic'ing up everybody" so that fans watching at home can get an idea of what football really sounds like.

'Yeah, it's gonna get crazy. I think they should, though. They should give the fans the inside to really see what goes on between the white lines," Jackson said. "It gets crazy, bro. I know in the trenches it gets crazy, and I know out there on the outside it gets crazy too with the conversations we going back and forth on."
