Sean McVay didn't mince words after the Los Angeles Rams' 23-20 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon.

"Our quarterback has got to take better care of the football," McVay said of Jared Goff.

Goff had three turnovers against the 49ers in what has become a growing trend.

"We're not taking good enough care of the football and that's something that's got to change, otherwise I'm going to continue to sit up here and say this week in and week out," McVay said. "It just can't continue to happen."

Goff has had three games with multiple turnovers since Week 8.

The Los Angeles Rams announced on Tuesday night that a player on the team has tested positive for COVID-19.

The player immediately entered self-quarantine and "out of an abundance of caution," the Rams will conduct all football activities and meetings remotely on Wednesday.

The Rams hosted the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday and are scheduled to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football this week.

Andrew Whitworth has suffered a torn MCL while also damaging his PCL. Whitworth, however, did not suffer a torn ACL.

The Los Angeles rams will place Whitworth on injured reserve.

Whitworth was carted off the field with the injury.
