The Los Angeles Rams have hired Brandon Staley as defensive coordinator.
Staley was most recently outside linebackers coach of the Denver Broncos. Staley previously had the same role with the Chicago Bears.
Staley will replace Wade Phillips.
Joe Barry was widely expected to get the job with the Rams.
