Rams To Wear Yellow-And-Blue Uniforms For Five Games

Jul 27, 2018 9:46 PM

The Los Angeles Rams will wear yellow-and-blue uniforms in five games.

The Rams have resisted unveiling their new uniforms until they open their new stadium in 2020, but the NFL has softened their rules on wearing throwbacks.

The Rams will wear their throwbacks at home for five regular-season games, against the Vikings, Packers, Seahawks, Eagles, and 49ers.

“Since returning home to Los Angeles two years ago, we have received a lot of feedback from our fans about their love for these iconic uniforms,” Rams COO Kevin Demoff said.  “We appreciate the NFL working with us so we can celebrate even more of the history of Los Angeles Rams football over the next two years as we create our new look that will take us into our new home and the future.”

Rams Trying To Win While Jared Goff Is Cheap

Jul 25, 2018 2:35 PM

The Los Angeles Rams are trying to acquire top-level talent and win now while quarterback Jared Goff is still playing under a cheap contract.

They have given out big contracts to Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks recently, while Aaron Donald is likely next.

Goff is on his rookie contract, which carries a salary of less than $3 million and a cap hit of less than $8 million. The quarterback will only carry a cap hit of $9 million next year.

In 2020, Goff's fifth-year option will kick in and likely pay him more than $20 million.
