Osgood, Jaguars Reach Agreement

Jul 13, 2014 6:58 AM

The Jaguars have agreed to terms with wide receiver Kassim Osgood, a three-time Pro Bowl selection on special teams. Osgood will receive a three-year deal worth around $6.6 million. "[Jacksonville] is that hard-nosed team that likes contact and hitting people," Osgood said. "They're a smashmouth team with great coaches [and it's] a great area to live in. The opportunity was just amazing. They're a good team that's ascending and I want to be a part of that. I just know they're right there at the edge of breaking over the top and becoming one of the dominant teams in the league."

Report: Kampman Flew To Jacksonville

Oct 11, 2014 7:45 AM

There have been reports that free-agent defensive end Aaron Kampman flew to Jacksonville on Friday night. With Julius Peppers, Antrel Rolle, Karlos Dansby, Chester Taylor and Dunta Robinson off the board, many consider Kampman to be the biggest free agent left. The Seahawks and Eagles are rumored to be interested in his services. The Jaguars interest in the defensive end should come as no surprise as they had trouble rushing the passer in 2009.
