Nov 24, 2014 8:24 PM

The Jaguars are expected to start Todd Bouman at quarterback this weekend against the Chiefs. Starter David Garrard suffered an injury this past Monday night against Tennessee. "I think in light of all of the recent developments, extreme caution is being taken," Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said of Garrard. "We're erring on the side of safety. ... I think all involved anticipate him being cleared Monday or Tuesday and back at practice."

Coach: Sims-Walker Trade Reports Are 'Garbage'

May 16, 2014 10:26 PM

Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio says trade reports involving wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker are "garbage." Del Rio lashed out Monday at reports that suggested Sims-Walker is on the block. "I actually called out one of the people that was involved in some of that being spread because that's garbage," Del Rio said. "False, not credible and it's disappointing to see stuff like that just go out be thrown out there haphazardly without anybody checking any sources. "I'm disappointed that something like that would be out there for us to discuss. He's done a great job of continuing to play. ... We like the way he's working. There are no issues here. There are some being manufactured outside the building."
