A portion of Denver's Mile High Stadium caught fire on Thursday.

The fire burned in a portion of the club level on the east side of Empower Field at Mile High. The Denver Fire Department responded at about 2:15 p.m. MDT to a fire that began in a construction zone in that part of the stadium.

There was a stadium tour underway at the time, and the group -- as well as employees who were working in that part of the stadium -- was evacuated from the stadium. No injuries were reported.

A Denver Fire Department spokesman said the fire covered "over 1,000 square feet'' and began on a suite level -- the fourth level -- of the stadium and then spread into seats in the third level.

The Seattle Seahawks are trading Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos, according to a report.

The trade is pending a physical and Wilson's approval.

Adam Schefter's report stated that the Broncos and Seahawks negotiated the deal for weeks.

Seattle will reportedly receive Drew Lock, Noah Fant, Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a fifth-round pick.

Denver will get a fourth-round pick in addition to Wilson.

The Denver Broncos are a potential trade candidate for Aaron Rodgers should he decide he wants to play elsewhere this offseason.

The Broncos are willing to compete to acquire Rodgers through a new contract and draft pick compensation to the Green Bay Packers.

One source stressed to ESPN that the Packers would want so much in compensation that a trade would be difficult to execute. 

The Pittsburgh Steelers are believed to have inquired on Rodgers, but their level of involvement is unclear. 

George Paton said at the NFL scouting combine that "everything is on the table" in the Denver Broncos' pursuit of a quarterback, including trading multiple first-round picks to get one or bringing back Teddy Bridgewater.

The Broncos hold the No. 9 pick in the first round and five selections among the first 100 in the draft.

Asked specifically if he would consider trading multiple first-round picks as part of a deal to acquire a quarterback, Paton said: "I just think that's the flexibility you have when you have a lot of picks. We have 11 picks, so if we had to give a little to go get a player, we can do it, and it's not going to handcuff you for the draft ... Everything's on the table; we do like having picks."
