Browns wide receiver Donte' Stallworth said on a 911 call that the man he struck and killed while driving drunk jumped in front of his car.
Stallworth is serving a 30-day jail sentence after pleading guilty to DUI manslaughter in the March 14 death.
The receiver described how the victim "just ran in front of my car."

Former Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell is still hoping to catch on with the Browns.
Harrell is hoping for a free agent contract and that Cleveland bring him into training camp with a shot to make the team.

Joe Jurevicius has sued the Browns and the Cleveland Clinic, claiming negligence over a staph infection in his right knee.
The lawsuit alleges that physicians Anthony Miniaci and Richard Figler failed to warn Jurevicius that therapy equipment was not always sanitized at Cleveland's training facility in suburban Berea.
The receiver was released by the club in March.
Anderson Likely In Final Cleveland Season
It is very possible that this could turn into a contract year for Browns quarterback Derek Anderson.
Anderson signed a three-year, $24 million contract in 2008, but the final year of the deal isn't guaranteed.
As ESPN's James Walker points out, Cleveland will likely cut him loose unless he beats Brady Quinn out for the starting job and excels this season.
Browns Never Got Solid Offer For Edwards
Braylon Edwards is expected to remain with the Browns.
Cleveland wasn't blown away by any trade offers for the receiver, and none included first-round picks prior to April's NFL Draft.
It's unlikely that the market for Edwards will change, and that some team will pay a sizable price for him.
Mangini Being Secretive In Cleveland
Browns coach Eric Mangini has been extremely secretive to the press, similar to his mentor Bill Belichick.
Under Romeo Crennel, the media were allowed to walk the perimeter of the field during camps in order to get closer to the drills they wanted to see.
That hasn't been the case with Mangini.
Mangini has also been vague regarding injuries.
Jim Brown Suggests Marijuana Involved In Stallworth Accident
Jim Brown suggested on Friday that Donte Stallworth was smoking marijuana when he stuck a killed a pedestrian.
"This situation is a tragedy all around, but what was involved was alcohol and marijuana," Brown said on 790 The Ticket's The Dan LeBatard Show. "On one hand, DUI is a very serious thing in America. Marijuana of course is against all the rules."
The Hall of Fame running back explained that he has some "inside information that says that that was also a part of what was detected."
Brown said he's not "100 percent sure" that this is true, but that he spoke with a "very reliable source" who shared the information.
Ryan: Cleveland Defense Will Attack
Defensive coordinator Rob Ryan believes that Cleveland's defense will be exciting this season.
"I know one thing, we'll be an attacking defense and an exciting defense," Ryan said.
"I've had success coaching both in college and the pros, and I can tell you that my guys always play hard. They play like (heck). The number of times my guys have quit I can count on one hand.
"They're going to fight and play just like the people in Cleveland would want us to."

The NFL has suspended Browns wide receiver Donte Stallworth indefinitely after killing a pedestrian while driving drunk.
In a letter to Stallworth, commissioner Robert Goodell said the player's actions caused "irreparable harm to the victim and his family, your club, your fellow players and the NFL."
