Richie Incognito Reverses Decision On Retirement

May 22, 2018 8:29 AM

Richie Incognito informed the Buffalo Bills that he wants to play again, according to a source.

The offensive lineman retired in April.

The Bills released Incognito from the reserve/retired list, making him a free agent now able to sign with any team.

Incognito was placed on the retired list April 12, two days after Incognito informed the NFL Players Association in a tweet that he was "done" playing football. The 34-year-old later told The Buffalo News that he made the decision for health-related reasons, saying, "My liver and kidneys are shutting down. The stress is killing me."

Bills Tried To Trade Up To No. 4 For Josh Allen

May 6, 2018 10:48 AM

The Buffalo Bills attempted to trade up as high as No. 4 to ensure they could select Josh Allen.

“I probably talked to John Dorsey more than anybody through the process, but we could not come to an agreement on what was fair,” Brandon Beane told the Buffalo News.

Beane also had a deal in advance with John Elway that would have seen the Bills send the 12th overall pick, the 22nd overall pick and a second-round pick to Denver in exchange for the fifth overall pick. Elway, however, said he would only agree upon the trade if the player he sought wasn't available. The Broncos wanted to select Bradley Chubb, who fell to No. 4 and they used the pick.
