Bills Agree To One-Year Deal With Vontae Davis

Feb 27, 2018 8:02 AM

Vontae Davis has agreed to a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, according to a source.

The veteran cornerback met with several teams in recent weeks.

Davis was medically cleared earlier this month following core injury surgery that was performed late last season.

The Indianapolis Colts released him on Nov. 9 after he sought additional medical opinions and opted to have season-ending surgery.

Bills Won't Cut Tyrod Taylor

Feb 22, 2018 3:51 PM

The Buffalo Bills are not planning on cutting Tyrod Taylor.

The Bills had been expected to move on from Taylor either through his release or a trade.

"At this point, it doesn't seem like they're going to cut him without knowing who his replacement will be," Rapoport said. "The Bills are OK with paying a $6 million roster bonus to keep him on the roster."

Taylor was benched in favor of Nathan Petersman ahead of Week 11 but he took back the starting job.
