The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to a three-year, $21 million deal with Michael Crabtree, according to a source.

The contract carries $11 million in guaranteed money and could be worth up to $20 million over the first two years.

"Michael has played very well against the Ravens, so we know firsthand the attributes he brings to the game. He is a smart, tough, physical receiver who battles for the ball. We like his temperament and believe he is a good fit for our football team, on and off the field," general manager Ozzie Newsome said.

The Baltimore Ravens will host Michael Crabtree for a visit on Friday, according to a source.

The Ravens would like to close a deal with Crabtree during the visit.

Crabtree was cut by the Oakland Raiders on Thursday after they signed Jordy Nelson.

The Ravens need for a wide receiver returned after Ryan Grant failed his physical.

Ryan Grant may never sign the four-year, $29 million deal he reached with the Baltimore Ravens earlier this week.

The deal, which reportedly included $14.5 million in guarantees, is in jeopardy after Grant failed his physical on Thursday.

All NFL contract agreements are contingent on the player passing a physical. Grant has never missed a game due to injury over the course of his four seasons.

The Baltimore Ravens will release Jeremy Maclin.

The team has added wide receiver depth in free agency, making Maclin expendable.

The Baltimore Ravens are expected to sign John Brown to a one-year deal, according to a report.

The 27-year-old wide receiver has totaled 173 receptions for 2,515 yards and 17 touchdowns for the Arizona Cardinals over the last four seasons.

The Baltimore Ravens and Chicago Bears are among at least five teams to talk with Jarvis Landry's agent about a potential trade, according to a source.

Nothing is imminent. The Miami Dolphins gave Landry permission to seek out a trade last week.

Landry has informed the Dolphins that he'll sign the non-exclusive franchise tag placed on him last month.
