Harbaugh Wonders If Tomlin Received Credit For Tackle

Aug 16, 2014 3:57 AM

Mike Tomlin interfered with James Jones during a 73-yard return in the Baltimore Ravens' win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday.

"Did they credit him with the tackle on that?" asked John Harbaugh. "Hey, that stuff happens. It happens. I really don't have anything to say about it other than, stuff like that happens."

"I eased up," Jones told "NFL AM" on Friday. "At the time when I was looking at him, I was like, 'I ain't going to run through him.' Everybody was like, 'You should've ran over him,' and I'm like, 'Man, good God, I'm not that type of person.'"

Flacco Thinks Wildcat Formation Should Be Left For High School

Jun 6, 2014 6:09 PM

Joe Flacco is strongly opposed to the Baltimore Ravens' use of the Wildcat formation.

Flacco lined up outside for a few plays in the Ravens' 19-3 win over the New York Jets with Tyrod Taylor taking the snap.

"I don't like that stuff. I think it makes you look like a high school offense. That's my opinion," Flacco said.

Flacco doesn't expect the Ravens to use the Wildcat again this season.

"It is what it is," Flacco said. "I want as many chances as I can get. I just don't like that stuff in general. We're not going to be good if we can't get good at the basics of what we do 90 percent of the time. We have to get good at those things or we're not going to be good no matter what we do."

The Baltimore Ravens are coming out of their bye week collectively healthier at running back than they were earlier in the season.
