Greg Olsen Suffered Ruptured Left Fascia

Nov 20, 2020 9:02 AM

The Seattle Seahawks saw Greg Olsen suffer a serious injury in Thursday night's win over the Arizona Cardinals.

The team fears the tight end ruptured fascia in his left foot.

Olsen went down in obvious pain without being contacted with around 11½ minutes left in the fourth quarter.

"He has a fascia tear injury that he's had before in his other foot," Pete Carroll said. "He knows exactly what it is. Sometimes when it ruptures like it did -- we think -- it's the best thing for a quick recovery. So we'll see what happens and wish him the best, and hopefully he can make it back. The fact that he's already had this before really helps him understand what's coming up."

Chris Carson Unlikely To Play Against Cardinals

Nov 19, 2020 9:41 AM

Chris Carson is listed as questionable, but the running back is unlikely to play for the Seattle Seahawks against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night.

However, the Seahawks are expected to have Carlos Hyde back. Both Carson (foot) and Hyde (hamstring) were injured in Week 7 against the Cardinals.

"They did make it through the week and Carlos looked strong throughout," Pete Carroll said. "Chris, we're going to wait until tomorrow to figure out what we're doing with it, but he did practice and looked good in all the stuff that he did. So we're real close with Chris. Feeling really good that Carlos will be out there."

Russell Wilson Vows To 'Keep Swinging'

Nov 18, 2020 8:46 AM

The Seattle Seahawks have lost three of their last four games as Russell Wilson has been mired in a stretch of turnovers unlike any in his career.

"You may slip and fall a little bit," Wilson said. "You've got to just keep climbing. I think Vince Lombardi said something about that one time. I think he talked about the man who's on top of the mountain didn't just get there. It's so true. I think that as a team, there's always challenges ... The guys that can keep getting up and keep swinging, those are the players and those are the teams that keep overcoming. What I do know about myself is I'm an overcomer. I've been doubted before. One thing about me is I'm going to keep swinging."

Wilson has 10 turnovers since Week 7, his most in a four-game stretch since he entered the league as a third-round pick in 2012.

The Seahawks have dropped from 5-0 to 6-3 and into a three-way tie with the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals for first place in the NFC West.
