The Seahawks have a number of options if they opt to add another running back in the wake of LenDale White's release. In addition to Marshawn Lynch, who they might be able to pry from the Bills, 12th Man Rising lists Brian Westbrook, Tatum Bell, Justin Fargas and Jamal Lewis as free-agent options.

The Bills appear more likely to trade Marshawn Lynch after signing running back Chad Simpson this week. Simpson will largely be used as a return man, but Buffalo does still have Fred Jackson and rookie C.J. Spiller to carry the football. Lynch has had trouble off the field and was outplayed by Jackson at the end of the 2009 season.

Bills head coach Chip Gailey is spending a lot of time keeping a close eye on quarterback Brian Brohm. Buffalo is deciding between Brohm, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Trent Edwards at quarterback. Edwards and Fitzpatrick split starting duties in 2009.
